Oakville, On: The Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) and the Private Motor Truck Council (PMTC) announced their partnership earlier this year, and they are taking their relationship to the next level. The TTSAO, an Association of Professional Truck Driving Schools, has been offering the new SmartDriver for Highway Trucking course to students entering the transportation industry. The course targets Entry-Level Drivers, Fleet Drivers and Owner-Operators, and focuses on the fuel-efficient operation of heavy duty transport trucks.
“Knowing about fuel efficiency is important for all drivers – it helps our Fleets save money, making our industry stronger”- Mike Millian, President of PMTC
“We’re thrilled to make this course available to PMTC members” – Yvette Lagrois, President of TTSAO
The TTSAO and PMTC partnership has grown, and the Associations are excited to explore opportunities to help each other through the ever-growing challenge of the driver shortage.
