FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Industry Biz and Breakfast Slated for October 4th in Milton
August 17, 2016 – Milton, On. – Mark your calendar and call to register for free to attend an action-packed educational and networking opportunity for anyone in the trucking industry. Everyone says there’s no free lunch anymore, but there is a free breakfast and what’s even better is that it is going to be served with tons of education and a chance to brush shoulders with some of the industry’s best. The Biz and Breakfast is the brainchild of ISB Canada and Making Eligibility Easy (MEE) CEO Mike Thompson.
The main objective is to create an event to bring good people from the trucking industry together, to offer them the opportunity to become better at what they do and improve the companies they work for. Registration has been paid for by the sponsors of the event, MEE, Aviva, DriverCheck, The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada(PMTC) and the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO).
“We are very pleased to have presenters who have great information regarding sleep apnea challenges and how predictive analytics can assist in identifying safer drivers. At the end of the morning the goal is to deal with some of the challenges currently facing the trucking industry and most importantly provide information that will assist in the success of your business” commented Thompson.
The two main focuses of the morning will be
Sleep Apnea-Challenges, Regulations and Solutions for The Industry presented by Dr. Kenneth Shonk.
Predictive Analytics – How Predictive Analytics around personality can be used to identify safer drivers at the hiring stage presented by Greg Ford.
Mike Millian, President of the PMTC commented ” When the PMTC and its Young Leaders Group were asked to sponsor, we were thrilled to be given the opportunity to partner on this educational event. When we discovered our sponsorship dollars were going towards paying for registration it seemed like a no brainer. This is our chance to give back to our membership and potential members, create awareness about the PMTC Young Leaders Program and help educate those in our industry. All of these things are important to the PMTC”.
Dr. Kenneth Shonk is billed as an expert in Sleep Apnea. Greg Ford has spent a lifetime being involved in Psychometric Research and has been a key note speaker across North America.
The event will be held on October 4th from 8 am – 12:30 pm at the Teatro’s Conference Centre just off the 401 at Hwy. 25 in Milton. Full breakfast will be served from 8 am – 9 am.
