For the 92nd time in the Ontario Trucking Association’s proud history, trucking’s top business leaders and executives will converge in Toronto to network, get inspired and celebrate the industry.

This year’s OTA’s Executive Conference will once again take place at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto on November 7 and 8. Early bird registration opens May 15 – so circle the date – and will be available until July 31. Details and links to register will follow soon.

The signature awards dinner and reception, which will be co-hosted by award-winning Canadian entertainer Jessica Holmes from Royal Canadian Air Farce, takes place on the Thursday evening. This first-class event includes a series of entertaining video tributes, including the Service to Industry award winner – someone who by their commitment, vision, leadership and dedicated service, has made an outstanding contribution to the development and success of the truck transportation industry. That presentation is followed by tributes for the OTA Truck Driver of the Year award, the Truck Hero award and the announcement of graduates from OTA’s LEAD programs. Space is limited to 380 people so book early. A full table of 10 can be reserved by Team OTA members.

This dinner is like the Oscars of our industry. It’s not just another industry occasion – it’s an event designed to celebrate the most exceptional leaders, drivers and up-and-coming, next generation individuals of our industry. It’s a great opportunity to express pride and honour the wonderful sector we all work in,” said OTA Chair Steve Ondejko.

Not a carrier member and would like to come to the OTA event by special paying member rates? e-mail OTA president Stephen Laskowski (stephen.laskowski@ontruck.org) to discuss your interest.

As always, leading up to the dinner is a lineup of diverse, entertaining and thought-provoking speakers who will engage industry professionals with ideas to take back to the workplace. This year’s lineup features:
