FLS Transportation Services, one of North America’s leading Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, today announced that Nichole Thompson has joined the company as SVP, Chief People Officer. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Nichole is an expert at organizational design, talent management, coaching models, change management, and building and implementing human resource development programs. At FLS, Nichole will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on scaling the company’s culture and people programs to support FLS’ growth trajectory through 2018 and beyond.

Nichole joins FLS from Benevis LLC, the largest provider of Children’s Dentistry in North America, where as Vice President of Human Resources she was responsible for all functions of the human resource department, including mergers and acquisitions, talent management, benefits, compensation, learning and development, employee relations, payroll, and succession planning. Prior to her time at Benevis LLC, Nichole held management roles in several companies including Target Stores, and Union Pacific Railroad.

Nichole holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Clark Atlanta University and a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University. She also earned a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR) certification and is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM – SCP).
