Andy, an asset-based transportation, logistics, warehousing, and fleet management group of private companies, is proud to announce the acquisition of its first Ontario transportation terminal located at 665 Weaver Road, in Windsor and consisting of approximately 500,000 sq. ft.
The newly acquired terminal will allow Andy to position itself in the Ontario market, improve operational efficiencies, and extend its offering to its customers. “We saw an immense potential and our vision is to develop it into a fully-serviced Andy terminal, opening many positions over the next months. We look forward to working with the local municipality, authorities and community”, says Andreea Crisan, COO and EVP at Andy.
Andy takes immediate possession and occupancy of the terminal. The terminal is 6 km away from the current Windsor-Detroit bridge and less than 3 km away from the future bridge. “We have acquired the terminal and are making development plans with our drivers in mind. It will become an important hub for our operations and clients, but also a comfortable resting site for our drivers”, says Ilie Crisan, President of Andy.
This acquisition is part of Andy’s growth plan, an answer to the company’s strategic direction to position itself in the Ontario market. “We are thankful to our legal and financial partners for their continuous support and trust”, says Golan Moryoussef, CFO of Andy.
