Kriska Transportation Group has announced its acquisition of Trailwood Transport Ltd and Nexus Freight Ltd out of Alliston, Ont.
Trailwood and Nexus will continue to be led by General Manager Lorie Thompson and its current management teams. Mark Beckstead, Trailwood’s former owner, will represent the company going forward with a focus on maintaining key customer relationships and growth.

Trailwood Transport Ltd, founded in 1984, is a family-owned transportation company that offers domestic and cross-border truckload services, specializing in the automotive industry. It operates a fleet of 112 power units comprised of 69 company trucks and 43 owner-operators and 385 dry van trailers.
Nexus Freight Ltd is a local cartage carrier, servicing Southern Ontario with both 53’ dry vans as well as a small fleet of straight trucks. It operates 20 power units and 12 trailers driven by company drivers and Owner Operators.
