The Province is opening up and it has never been more important to get out away from your computer screen and all those on line meetings. Start meeting face to face, safely and following COVID protocols.
As an association the Truck Training Schools Association (TTSAO) understands the important role carriers play in the success of our businesses at the training schools. All good schools ownership knows that two very important ingredients to our successes are making sure our graduates can be employed and that the carriers they go to can insure them. We can educate and certify the students but they have to be employable and they have to be insurable. That is why the TTSAO works closely with both groups and the reason there is a TTSAO Carrier Group and a TTSAO Insurance Group.
The TTSAO is hosting a meeting on November 24th at Lionhead Golf And Conference Center from 9am – 12 noon, this is free of charge to all carriers, Private, For Hire and Truckload who will hear from industry experts and government leadership on the update and introduction of ELD’s along with CVOR regulation. You do not need to be a carrier member of the TTSAO to attend. You can register by RSVP at ttsao@ttsao.com. Deadline for registration is Thursday November 18th.
We are encouraging all carries regardless what sector of the industry you are in to come out and hear from Virginia McKimm, Director, Ministry of Transportation along with Sean Doussept, Deputy Registrar and Mike Millian, President of the Private Motor Truck Council Of Canada (PMTC) as they discuss key issues that affect your business.
This educational meeting and networking session is another value added service that the TTSAO brings to the industry.
