The Kriska Transportation Group (KTG) is excited to announce that David Tumber has been named President. David, who has been with KTG since 2015 and has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2020, has earned the trust of the Board and the executive team and will take on the dual roles of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Before joining KTG, David led the Canadian sales team at Schneider National as the Commercial General Manager. He managed the outside sales team, representing the company’s significant over-the-road and intermodal cross-border business.
David joined KTG in 2015 as the Director of Commercial Development and is now responsible for managing the group’s 8 Canadian trucking and logistics businesses and 1 American trucking carrier. He helps guide KTG’s growth through mergers and acquisitions with accurate valuations, detailed due diligence and strategic implementation.
As an active member of the Canadian Transportation industry, David is a Director of the Toronto Transportation Club, a Board member of the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) and sat as the inaugural chair of the Ontario Trucking Association Sales Council.
“I’m excited to take on this expanded role,” said Tumber, ”It will be a welcome challenge to lead the organization while overseeing operations as we drive towards operational excellence. My goal is to make KTG both bigger and better.”
