Jeremy Thiel, Brand Manager, DriverCheck Inc. After graduating from Laurier University in 2000, with two degrees – Communication Studies and Sociology – I knew marketing was the career for me. I love learning about new and emerging technologies, and creating ways to introduce these concepts, products and services to the market. For the past 15 years I have been heavily involved in strategy roles, focusing on marketing, communications and sales initiatives. With a diverse background in a variety of industries, including medical, technology, agriculture, transportation and innovation, I have seen it all – the good, the bad and the ugly! I am fortunate enough to have been exposed to small, medium and large sized companies, from being employed by a Fortune 500 company to consultant roles for start-up companies, providing guidance and advice to improve revenue and drive brand awareness. As the Brand Manager at DriverCheck Inc., my goal is to be an educational provider of newsworthy industry trends, technologies and challenges to our customers and social media followers. I am a husband and father to one son (who makes me smile on a daily basis) and one dog. I love sports – playing or hearty debates – and enjoy the outdoors. Although my golf game stinks, I’ll never pass up a round!
