Major Hiring Event for Professional Drivers
April 21, 2014 – Caledonia, On. – On June 7th at the Burlington Holiday Inn from 9 am – 12 noon, some of the industries finest transportation companies will be recruiting drivers in all sectors of the transportation industry. The event, which is being sponsored by TRIP Insurance o/b Pearson Dunn Insurance Brokers, will attract both new and existing professional commercial drivers, and drivers will have an opportunity to talk to different companies who offer a variety of driving career options. This major hiring event will give all drivers the ability to discuss long haul, short haul, tanker, flat bed, reefer and food service delivery with some excellent carriers.
TRIP Insurance’s partner in this event is Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists, Inc. (KRTS, Inc.). KRTS will be participating in the event to provide information and training options to any people looking to obtain a commercial license.
Lisa Arseneau, Vice President, Transportation, of TRIP Insurance o/b Pearson Dunn Insurance Brokers, is pleased to be the event sponsor and says “As an insurance broker, the most common question I am asked is, ‘How can I find quality drivers?’ I am pleased to answer that question with this Major Hiring Event”.
One of the companies participating in the hiring event is Gordon Food Services who have a distribution center in Milton, Ontario. Jen Wei, Human Resource Coordinator, is looking forward to attending. Wei says, “We are looking for some great people to add to our team of professional representatives. Others companies who have already confirmed attendance are the Scotlynn Group and Schneider’s. Both of these companies offer numerous driving opportunities in the long haul and short haul areas.

The event is being held on a Saturday morning so existing drivers can come out and see what is available for them and learn more about those companies attending.
