For its industry-leading performance, sustained growth and consistent satisfaction of clients and employees, Kriska Transportation Group is a 2023 Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.

For the last 30 years, the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program has recognized superior performance in private Canadian-owned companies with revenues of $50 million or greater. Hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation yearly in a rigorous and independent evaluation process. An independent panel of judges evaluates each company’s leadership in strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities, innovation, governance and financial performance.

This award marks KTG’s 23rd consecutive year as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. It acknowledges our commitment to our people, process improvements, responsible governance and reducing our environmental impact.

“23 consecutive years speaks to the quality of the people we work with,” said KTG CFO Pierre Carrier. “Our growth is a product of mutual support and an innovative mindset. Our team is proud to continue to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.”

Every year since 1993, hundreds of companies have competed for the Canada’s Best Managed Companies designation. For over a decade, KTG has belonged to the Platinum Club. Its members have maintained their Best Managed status for seven years or more. The 2023 cohort of Best Managed companies shares common themes: a people-centric culture, targeting effective ESG strategies, and accelerating operational digitization.

“It has become increasingly important for businesses to foster collaborative workplaces where employees are empowered to make valuable contributions to their organizations,” said Lorrie King, Deloitte Private Partner and co-leader of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. “This year’s Best Managed winners, including KTG, embrace a people-first mentality, enabling employees to cultivate important capabilities and integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives into their core strategy. By prioritizing employee wellbeing and championing professional development, these companies are harnessing their talent pool’s fullest potential and in a stronger position to attract the talents needed to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.”
