The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada has announced the 4 panellists that will be part of it’s YLG Driven to lead panel at the 2018 PMTC Conference in Niagara Falls.
The panellists will include Kimberly Biback, Corporate Relations & Marketing Specialists with Sharpe Transportation Systems, James Currier, District Account Manager with Train Trailer, Sud Malhotra, Safety & Compliance Manager with Ameri Can Systems & Meredith Vincent, Regional Sales Manager for Truck Lite. “These current and future Young Leaders are a Prime example of the vastness of opportunities in the Transportation Industry, and what the next generation can bring to our Industry, given the chance and opportunity to succeed”, said PMTC President Mike Millian. “Their experiences and perspective are something that will provide great insight to those in attendance.”
To start off the Seminar, Jeremey Enn’s of Eagle’s Flight, will provide attendee’s with an overview of the PMTC’s ‘Driven to Lead’ program, an experiential, practical leadership program that will take participants through hands-on and impactful exercises focusing on topics like culture, teamwork, accountability and strategy. It is intended for both up-and-coming and current leaders who are looking to advance and develop their personal and professional skills.
The program will be facilitated by Eagle’s Flight at their facility in Guelph, Ontario and begins in September of this year. Eagle’s Flight is known as a global leader in education for their approach to delivering training programs that are business-relevant and invoke lasting behavioral change. Jeremy will provide a brief overview of the modules content and what attendees can expect to learn.
Following the overview, Jeremy will moderate the panel of PMTC YLG Members mentioned above, and will gain their perspective on the industry as a whole, the Driven to Lead Program, and what they are looking for as far as education and support from their employers is concerned.
This seminar is scheduled for 10:30am on June 14th, and is part of the PMTC’s full 2 day conference, which includes 7 educational seminars, 3 awards banquets and 2 Networking opportunities with Conference sponsors and exhibitors.

Fleets can’t achieve amazing safety records without qualified and trained drivers. After the Fleet Safety awards conclude, we will award one lucky PMTC member with the PMTC-KRTS Driver Training Scholarship. The recipient will receive the funds to cover a 200-hour TTSAO or PTDI Certified Professional Truck Driver course.
