The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada has announced the full agenda and schedule for its 2020 Conference. “Each year those who attend the PMTC Annual Conference tell us it is one of the best educational and networking values they receive in the transportation industry. We believe this year’s line up of speakers continues to build on that reputation”, says PMTC President, Mike Millian. “Last year we set new records for attendee’s and exhibitors, and this years event is shaping up to improve on those numbers even further”.
The conference will kick off the afternoon of June 10th with the Annual General Meeting for the membership from 4 to 5:50pm. The AGM is for PMTC Members and invited guests only. In addition to the usual business portion that needs to be conducted, (voting in of the board, approval of audit firms, etc), this year it will also feature an entertaining and enlightening presentation on “The Future of Fuel and Energy Predictions”, by the Portland Fuel Company.
On the evening of the 10th, Zavcor Training Academy will host the PMTC Young Leaders Group Pre-Conference Cocktail Reception for conference sponsors, speakers, the PMTC Board of Directors, all registered conference attendee’s and all PMTC Young Leaders Group members. Last year the pre-conference reception was attended by over 200 people. The reception will be held in the Sponsors Exhibitors’ Showcase area to provide more value to our conference partners and those who attend the pre-conference cocktail reception.
On June 11th, starting at 8 am, the educational portion of the conference will begin and continue into the 12th. Mixed in with this will be the PMTC awards program as well as several networking opportunities.
A schedule of topics and events is listed below, and the full brochure with details and registration is up on the PMTC website at www.pmtc.ca. (Conference agenda and schedule subject to change with out notice)
This year’s conference will take place at the Sheraton on the Falls, in Niagara Falls, ON.
