The team at TransRep and the National Recruiting & Retention Symposium (NRRS) are excited to announce that Helen Hofer, director of the Freedom Drivers Project for Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), will be speaking at the upcoming Virtual National Recruiting and Retention Symposium 2020. This event is a 2-hour complimentary webinar designed to support the industry with new and relevant content.

Hofer uses the Freedom Drivers Project, TAT’s 48-foot mobile exhibit, to educate and empower members of the transportation industry and the general public about sex trafficking and how the industry can drive change.

Kim Richardson, TransRep President, says, “Human trafficking is a terrible issue that everyone should be aware of.  Truckers Against Trafficking is doing a fantastic job of educating the industry about things they can do and training that is available. We are very proud to have Helen speaking at the Virtual NRRS 2020!”

“Imagine if every member of the trucking industry — if every driver was trained — knew what to look for and knew to report it immediately,” Hofer explains. “How many more victims would be recovered and traffickers and buyers arrested. That is our goal and that is why I am thrilled to work with TransRep and the NRRS, to make that a reality.”

The NRRS recently announced that as a result of the global pandemic the full event has moved to April 2021.  To register for the complimentary Virtual National Recruiting and Retention Symposium 2020 please visit: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/590156677521927693.
