Top executives of the Canadian trucking industry and some from our bordering areas of the United States will be gathering on October 18th at the Capitol Banquet Hall in Mississauga to discuss some key issues regarding border crossing and other important issues affecting the trucking industry.

This event is being powered by Freightliner and led by this years Chairman of the Board of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) Rob Penner, Bison Transport, and TCA President John Lyboldt. Without a doubt, the Truckload Carrier Association has proven to be a tremendous return on my investment for all of our businesses; KRTS, TransRep and The Rear View Mirror have been positively affected by engaging with the TCA. Every carrier I know in Canada who is a member of TCA that I have talked to also sees a huge value in their TCA membership.

One of my mentors taught me many years ago that if you’re going to spend time and money with industry associations and industry events, there must be a return on that investment. When we go to conventions, seminars and industry meetings we must bring valued information back to our companies that are going to affect our people and our bottom line in a positive manner.

TCA does this for us regularly, every year. Are you interested in learning why so many Canadian carriers are TCA members? Get registered for October 18th. There is no charge because you are a guest of Freightliner. Come out and enjoy a great breakfast, be educated by some of the best in the business for the morning and take something back to your business to improve your bottom line and help your people.

We at TransRep are very excited and privileged to be assisting Rob Penner and the TCA with this event. I hope to see you there!  To register, contact Sean Townsend at (703) 838-1950 or   stownsend@truckload.org
