Is a keynote speaker important to have at an event, conference, symposium? It depends who you ask. I have heard many opinions. I didn’t think so, I thought they were too expensive, unnecessary.  My thought was we should be able to put together a great event without a keynote. Maybe you can but I am so glad the team who helps put together the National Recruiting and Retention Symposium convinced me otherwise.

A properly researched keynote that can address your audience and talk about relevant topics that make a difference personally and professionally to those attending can move the needle from your event from being good to great.

Last year, 2022 was our first year for a keynote, we had Dr. Karyn Gordon. When our survey went out to those in attendance she ranked 5 Star. We put her on first thing in the morning – what a buzz she created. We believe having our keynote at the start of our event dictates the energy and encompasses the theme of our event. Some might say it’s the first glimpse of the overall structure of our symposium.

So what makes a great keynote? Entertainment, engagement, insight are all important as is credibility. I am pleased and excited to announce that the keynote speaker for the 2024 National Recruiting & Retention Symposium is Hamza Khan. Hamza is a globally renowned keynote speaker, he is a best selling author, award winning entrepreneur whose TEDx talk “Stop Managing, Start Leading has been viewed over 2 million times. Leading organizations trust him to enhance modern leadership, inspire purposeful productivity, nurture lasting resilience, and navigate constant change. Satisfied customers who have hired Hamza describe his presentations as professional, polished, relatable, energetic, engaging and motivational. Check Hamza out at https://www.hamzakhan.ca

Our team who are working on the symposium are pretty excited about next years event. The agenda promises to be packed with great speakers, industry professionals sharing best in class practices along with relative industry topics that will improve you and your business. Affordable, timely, educational.

Mark you calendar May 1st/2nd, 2024 at the Burlington Holiday Inn and Conference Center. Stay tuned for more information and keep checking our website out at https://transrep.ca/symposium/
